Formatting messages with Prose
The messages sent to conversations in Prose can be formatted with Markdown. Conversations on Prose can either be Direct Messages (per-contact), or between multiple people (in public channels or private channels). There is no such things as "conversations" in Prose wording, rather "rooms". Starting a Direct Message A Direct Message room goes for a one-to-one conversation between you and a team member. Prose allows you to upload any kind of file (images, videos, folder archives, etc.) to all types of rooms (DMs, public channels, private groups). Ways to Upload Files Files can be uploaded in many different ways: You can click on the Send Files button and pick the files you want to upload from your file explorer. Your status
Changing your availability (eg. available or away)
Your availability appears to your team members as a little green or red dot next to your profile picture. It lets them know if you are available for chat, or if you explicitly asked not to be disturbed. Your activity status is an optional add-on next to your current availability, which appears to your team members as an emoji with a short text next to your profile picture.
