Configure how your messages show up in your inbox

Prose lets you customize how your inbox behave and how your message appear in your inbox. For instance, if you do not want to see thumbnails of images that are shared in chats, you can easily disable this. This can be useful to save bandwidth if you work on roaming cellular data and your team mates share loads of image and video files.

Available Options

The following options are available to you:

Enable or disable sending of your "composing message" status.
Enable or disable the spell checker on the messages that you write.
Switch the hour indicator of received messages from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock (eg. show 2:00pm or 14:00).
Automatically shrink and compress the images that you share from Prose.
Show or hide previews of image files.
Show smaller or larger previews of image files.

Change Appearance of Messages

To customize your message appearance options:

Open your Account settings (in the bottom left menu bar).
In Messages, you will be able to change all options.

You can configure your inbox messages from your Account settings
