# Recording audio messages on Prose

**When text is not enough to express your ideas, you may want to try recording an audio message instead. Prose lets you share audio messages to your team mates.**

# Record an Audio

To record an audio message, click on the Record Audio button next to the message composing field in a conversation:

Then, say what you have to say! Once ready, press on the send button:

Once sent, your team mate will receive your audio message, and both of you can play it to listen to it:

|| Audio messages sent on Prose do not have any expiration date, unlike apps such as Apple iMessage. They are kept the same way as text messages.
