# How can I change my name?

**Your name is visible to all your team members. In a workspace environment, the name set in your profile should be your real name. You can easily change your name from your Profile settings.**

# Change Your Name

You can easily change your name as such:

1. Open the Profile editor (in the bottom left menu bar).
2. In Identity, change your name.

|| In case you want your messages to appear as sent from another name as your main name, you can also configure an optional display name in the "Display name" section.

# Where is my Name Visible?

Your name will be visible to other users in the following places:

* The messages you send.
* Your profile information.
