# How can I change my email address?

**Your email address is visible to all your team members, and can be used to recover your Prose account in case you lost your password. In a workspace environment, the email address set in your profile should typically be your professional email. You can easily change your email from your Profile settings.**

# Change Your Email

You can easily change your email as such:

1. Open the Profile editor (in the bottom left menu bar).
2. In Identity, change your email address.

Your email will be visible to other users in the following places:

* Your profile information.
