# Change your app from Light Mode to Dark Mode

**The Prose application is available in both Light Mode and Dark Mode. By default, Prose will try to auto-detect the best theme for your system, however, you can easily force a mode (Light orDark).**

# Changing Theme

You can easily change from Light mode, to Dark mode, or use the auto-detected theme mode as such:

1. Open your Account settings (in the bottom left menu bar).
2. In General, change the Theme option to your needs.
